Our Mission

We are passionate about books… digital books, specifically. Our mission is to help create a larger green footprint in the digital publishing world.

We like the printed stuff, too–print-on-demand, that is–but let’s face it, the publishing world is changing. And it’s about time in our opinion. A few big companies controlling the fate of thousands of aspiring writers is not a formula for success… except for a small group of writers who dominate the publishing cycles.

We understand that writing a book is big accomplishment so the Wise Bear Book Podcast was created to help writers and authors of all genres gain greater exposure for their work. Our only requirement is that you must be involved with some form of digital media… whether it be a book on Kindle, a PDF eBook, or writing a regular blog column… we are mainly interested in writers/authors who are playing a role in the digital book revolution.

Here are a few reasons we are advocates for digital publishing:

  • Authors retain all the rights to their work
  • Complete creative control… book layout, cover design, etc.
  • Publish quickly, no more waiting on publishing cycles
  • Multiple formats… Kindle, Nook, as well as print-on-demand options
  • Distribute your book worldwide with a click of a mouse
  • Target your specific audience using social media connections
  • Your book will never go out of print
  • And much more!

If you love digital books and eReaders, you are in the right place. We invite you to listen in and learn from other writers and  authors who understand the ins-and-outs of digital publishing.

The Wise Bear Books podcast was specifically created to support and promote independent writers, authors, and other book lover. Got an idea for a podcast? We’d love to hear from you. We’re open to all interesting topics.

Welcome to the new world of digital books and media!
